I live in the Northern USA where it is frigid and wind blown. This hat is a great compromise between a stocking hat and a baseball cap to keep the sun out of your eyes.
I stopped into the Covent Garden location last November. With the help of the shopkeeperās expertise & guidance, I had the pleasure of finding the perfect flat cap. Fast forward a year and Iāve decided to add a bakerboy into the mix. With no hesitation, I ordered the Shelby bakerboy and couldnāt be more pleased with the craftsmanship & style. Iāve never worn a hat before thinking that I didnāt suit them. Two minutes after walking into the shop the lovely staff in there picked out a cap (Shelby Bakerboy)which was not only a perfect fit it actually looked really good on me. I would highly recommend a visit to this lovely shop in Oxford. The friendly staff are very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. I have already purchased another cap, Shelby Bakerboy in a different colour and will definitely return for a hat suitable for the summer. Give it a try if you are ever in Oxford, you wonāt be disappointed.

It was exactly as I expected, delivered safe and sound, good fit and great craftsmanship. There will be no modelling pictures, I have a faced for radio. Or so my mother once told me. Laird Hatters is itself a wonderful find as I traversed across central London on my way to the National Gallery. I wish I could do it justice, my Great x Three Grandfather was a convict from Birmingham who settled in Australia. As I spend some time in the UK, I feel it lets me carry on a worthy tradition of sporting a fine cap.

I bought the cap at the Goodwood Revival from a very nice lady who helped me to choose it. Great cap for cool weather in fall and winter in Germany!
