I purchased this because I'd recently got the Tactical Sicilian and it's the only flat cap I've ever really liked. I like the Brooklyn too and the outline is actually pretty similar to the Sicilian. It doesn't have the 'oversized' look of a Peaky Blinders bakerboy, but also looks more contemporary and urban than your tweed flat cap. It's really well made and very comfortable. A bit too warm for hot summer days, but otherwise a 3 season hat, I reckon. I'm in my early fifties and I'm new to hat wearing, and neither this nor the Sicilian feel too ostentatious or flamboyant for me as I get use to being a hat wearer. I did buy a Laird fedora earlier in the year too, but I still lack the courage to wear it outside of the house, ha!
