Shaped from fine cashmere felt in our English workshop, this fedora carries a softness that deepens with wear. The cashmere is finished with a subtle suede texture ā matte, tactile, and quietly refined ā while the blocked crown holds a clean, precise line through seasons and travel alike.
This fedora is cut with a trim, close crown ā a silhouette true to classic British millinery, sitting higher on the head than a relaxed casual hat. It will soften and ease naturally with wear, gradually moulding to the shape of your head for an increasingly comfortable, personalised fit.
If you prefer a lower, more relaxed sit from the outset, or find yourself between sizes, we recommend sizing up. When in doubt, go larger ā a hat that sits well is a hat you'll reach for every day.
This is a structured hat with genuine resilience. Pack it, travel with it, and it will recover ā the cashmere felt is robust enough to handle the demands of a well-lived wardrobe. What is a cashmere felt fedora?
A cashmere felt fedora is a hat blocked and shaped from cashmere fibre rather than wool or rabbit felt ā the result is a notably finer, softer finish with a distinctive matte lustre and excellent natural insulation.
Does a cashmere hat soften with wear?
Yes. Cashmere felt responds to warmth and wear over time, gradually easing to the contours of your head. A new cashmere fedora will feel firmer initially; within several wears it begins to mould and soften for a more personal fit.
What size should I order?
Measure the circumference of your head just above the ears. If you are between sizes, or prefer a hat that sits lower on the head, size up. Our size guide is available on the product page.
Is this fedora suitable for travel?

From start to finish the thing that stood out most was the customer service from this Company, what service used to be but has been forgotten over the years. Polite, informative and so willing to get things right for you. The hats were well made, exactly as advertised and they even stretched one free of charge. Exceptional. Well done all.

This hat was made of a lovely, soft, but strong cashmere. It was very stylish and sophisticated and the size l ordered was an excellent fit. Unfortunately it did not suit me. Having realised this l made a return which was truly the easiest return I've ever made. Within 48 hours l was notified that the hat had been received and it was refunded shortly after. Their service is 5* all around . I would not hesitate using their services again.

The colour wasn't true to the photo on the website, I wouldn't say full marks for everything else, as village hats pack their hats for transit with more care. I was able to buy what wanted from them at a better price. Sorry, I will stick with village hats for my requirements, thank you
