Co-founders Zofia and Alex of Laird Hatters recently sat down with Menswear Style UK to discuss all things menswear and explore why the hat remains a timeless staple in the modern man’s wardrobe.

Founded in 2009 by Zofia, with Alex joining shortly after as principal milliner, Laird has grown from its first London shop into a brand with four London locations and a store in Cambridge. Known for crafting distinctive hats and caps by hand, Laird champions British cloth, traditional craftsmanship, and heritage style with a modern twist.

The pair also shared insights into their growing bespoke work, designing for private clients as well as film and television, and their latest venture — Laird Utility — a British-made workwear brand blending rugged durability with character-driven design for both town and country living.
